Weightless on water.

Evergreens stand watch

Colors marching down mountains

Slow parade of fall.

Tiers of water gush

Through gaudy rainbow of leaves

Oldest are brightest.

Tunnel through forest

Gold trees arching left and right

Drizzled with autumn.

Clouds hug autumn peak

Trace contours of vivid trees

Pale floating shadows.

As nights grow colder

Red seeping through maple leaves

Green veil drops away.

Trees pass color torch

Autumn woven through branches

Sun through stained glass leaves.

Single boat floating

Across sparkling city lake

Trees drip fall colors.
