Steps wind ever up

Through bright world of jungle green

Twine through twisted trees.

Dwarfing forest trees

Plunging over jungle cliff

Water falls in strands.

Steep tropical slopes

Glowing green with vibrant life

Tangled leafy maze.

Fierce sun burns straight down

Palm trees brush bright billowed clouds

Shadows float below.

Bridge floats in forest

Across swift restless river

Dividing green grove.

 

Sky is streaked with clouds

Color swallowed by water

Half day or half night

Lush ancient forest

Ferns once shared with dinosaurs

Line winding green trail.

Storm clouds approaching

Rain will fall on smaller peaks

Snow where earth meets sky.

Clouds part to reveal

Where swift fire once destroyed

Life slowly returns.

Clouds rest on mountains

Last bands of color in sky
